The World-Wide Academy is the vehicle by which
IALA delivers education, training and capacity building…

Education & Training
The Academy’s primary objective is not merely to conduct training but to develop and promote the use of IALA model training courses. When needed, the Academy facilitates these courses to support training initiatives.
Capacity Building
Some coastal States require strengthened national and institutional capacity to deliver Marine Aids to Navigation services in line with international standards.
The Academy supports these States by conducting technical needs assessment missions and recommending tailored improvements to enhance compliance with global standards. Long term cooperation is fostered through follow up initiatives, including education and training programs for individuals.

Use of the IALA logo
The IALA logo may only be used on training documentation, including certificates, by an accredited training organization operating in a country where IALA has a member State.
Its use signifies that the accreditation and approval process has been conducted in accordance with IALA standards.
The logo is authorized for use only during the validity period of the accreditation and approval certification.
It must be displayed in a secondary and discreet manner to ensure it does not imply that IALA is directly responsible for the course’s conduct or delivery. This version enhances clarity, conciseness, and professionalism.
