Consider new developments:

  • at IEC for VDES authentication of bulletin boards
  • the state of discussions in the IMO Correspondence Group on “IP based connectivity framework” and the role of VDES within that framework that the Correpondance Group sees
  • the potential of MMS (RTCM 13900.0) to bind VDES into the IP based connectivity framework and it’s associated architecture for the shore side
