EfficienSea2: Last chance to register for Final Conference

The Final Conference on the results of the EfficienSea2 e-navigation project will be hosted by the Danish Maritime Authority in Copenhagen on 5 and 6 April. Participation is free of charge, but interested parties must register online in advance (https://efficiensea2.org/final-conference/).

The focus will be on the demonstration of e-navigation solutions that were tested for real-life implementation in the Baltic region and the Arctic beyond from the perspective of users of e-navigation. A key prerequisite for successful implementation is the harmonization of standards for data exchange. A major achievement of EfficienSea2 has been the development of the Maritime Connectivity Platform (MCP). The MCP is maritime service-oriented and the first-ever, open-source communications framework designed to support the seamless, secure and reliable transfer of information between authorised stakeholders, using available communication equipment. It holds great potential for tackling the potentially disruptive implications of rapid digitalization in and around the maritime sector.
